Online Artist #3: Cristiano Siqueira

Online Artist #2: Chris

While surfing the web, I searched for shoes and vector designs and see what I would get out of it. And I came across a series of illustrations of shoes by a guy named Chris. I wanted to fuse my shoe pictures I have taken and use skills I've learned from Adobe Illustration and turn it into a new work of art.

Online Artist #1: Shaun Venish

I found some artwork online from Shaun Venish and was inspired by it. His work resembled mine in a way because it looks illustrated and designed in a art style that I like doing, which is vector design. Like me as an inspiring graphic artist, Venish focuses on graphic art and illustration designs in logos, posters, and magazine designs.

Katherine Westerhout

Katherine Westerhout is a very inspiring photographer. Her shots consists of bringing something back to life through her photos. She uses abandon buildings that have a great history to it and also has an amazing architectural structure to it. She uses the element of old and decay building with a combination of lighting at the right moment and time to capture its beauty and bring it back to life in a way, as if the place gets risen through the light.

Edward Burtynsky

Edward Burtynskyhad a very interesting topic to focus on in his video and photographs. His focus was on the waste, particularly the electronic waste, like what happens to those electronics when it is being disposed of. In the video, it portrayed the people behind the clean up and how unsanitary and how it is highly risky to be working in that kind of condition and environment. It is interesting to see little kids there on site either using that place as a playground to play or actually helping out and working. If its unsafe for adults to be there, then for sure it is more unsafe for the little children to be there.

Photoframe

Here are some experiments that later became actual pages in my final book project. Here you see photoframes around the photos and some around the actual page it self. There is one texture behind one of the layouts.
